Nordic walking is a full-body, low-impact exercise that enhances regular walking by using specially designed poles, engaging up to 90% of muscles and burning 20-40% more calories.

A Volunteer Gardening Group to plant and maintain the station planters and surrounding areas.

Covering the history of Hilsea Gas Works and Portsmouth Airport, the walk takes in the former Hilsea Halt station, and the wartime use of the surrounding railway sidings and the Army Barracks at Gatcombe Park and Hilsea Lines.
